Somatic Healing for Sensitive and Neurodivergent Women

Do you feel things more deeply than others? You might be moved to tears by music, overwhelmed in a busy supermarket, or exhausted by absorbing other people's emotions — and then told you're "too sensitive" when you say so.

Your sensitivity isn't a flaw. It's the signature of a nervous system that processes the world with extraordinary depth. But when that system has been overloaded — by chronic stress, trauma, hormonal shifts, or simply years of masking — it needs more than words to find its way back to balance.

Somatic healing and therapeutic yoga works directly with the body. Rather than talking about your experiences, we listen to what your nervous system is already holding — and gently, at your pace, help it find its way to safety.

What We Work Towards

Who I Work With

Feeling seen is the first step toward healing. Perhaps you recognise yourself in some of these experiences:

  • Easily overwhelmed by sensory input — lights, sounds, smells, or busy environments

  • You absorb the emotions of others, sometimes to the point of exhaustion

  • Often told you're "too much," "too sensitive," or "overthinking things"

  • Struggling with anxiety, burnout, or a persistent feeling of being on edge

  • Difficulty defining what you're feeling, sensations feel muted or suddenly overwhelming

  • A strong intuition you've learned to doubt or dismiss

  • You may be neurodivergent, diagnosed or self-identifying

  • You've always felt a little different, but haven't quite known why

  • You're navigating perimenopause or menopause and your nervous system feels less resilient than it used to

Release Stored Stress

Safely discharge the accumulated tension and relational trauma that keep you feeling on edge.

Build Energetic Boundaries

Develop an embodied sense of your own space, so you can be with others without becoming flooded.

Ground Yourself

Simple, powerful techniques to anchor in the present moment — even when the world feels chaotic.

Trust Your Body Again

Reconnect with your intuition and turn your sensitivity from a source of stress into genuine wisdom.

What a session looks like

Sessions are 50 minutes and follow a gentle, predictable rhythm because safety and consistency matter, especially for a nervous system that's been under strain. You are in control at all times and we move at your pace.

Your first session begins with an interoceptive assessment, a way of understanding where your body is in relation to sensation and emotion. From there I'll give you grounding tools, and we'll move into somatic practices together.

Sessions may include breathwork, somatic movement, guided mindfulness, Yoga Nidra, sound healing (bowls and drums), or simply learning to breathe in a way that signals safety to your whole being. We focus more on the body and on movement than on talking. I'll also give you home practices — journalling prompts and simple exercises to continue the work between sessions.

Nothing is forced. You lead, I guide.

If you're looking for deeper psychological work alongside somatic healing, my Somatic Therapeutic Coaching sessions may also be right for you — many women work with both.

Your body isn't broken. It's holding on.

If you're moving through perimenopause and your body suddenly feels less like home - the stubborn lower belly, the bloating that won't budge, the little leaks when you laugh or sneeze - you've probably been told to work harder. Tighten up. Pull your tummy in. Or just do kegals.

I want to gently offer you the opposite.

This free guide is for women whose bodies are holding too much, often without them even knowing it. Inside, you'll find a kinder way to understand what's happening between your hormones, your nervous system, and your pelvic floor, plus simple, lying-down practices you can do in bed before you even stand up. They're gentle enough for sensitive systems, including those of you living with POTS.

No crunches. No bracing. Just permission to breathe, soften, and let go.

"The human body is not an instrument to be used, but a realm of one's being to be experienced, explored, enriched and, thereby, educated."
